Maria’s recording and lesson studio is located in Carmel Valley just a few blocks from the 5 and Del Mar Heights exit. She covers all styles including pop, R&B, jazz, rock, latin, and broadway and all her students leave each lesson with a CD of the song they are working on.
You will learn how to use the vocal techniques used by great singers like Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, Gavin DeGraw, American Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia Burrino, Bono, Sting, Mary J Blige, Norah Jones, Ray Charles and others that give your voice power, personality, originality and expressiveness, and make them your own.
With all music students she emphasizes both technique and inspiration.
She will get quickly to the songs YOU want to sing hitting on everything from posture, to breathing, to development of ear/body coordination, listening-focusing skills, stage presence, vocal range, register, resonance, diction, style, power, confidence, emotional expression and voice-care.
